The Starpower Sportsmanship Award is presented to the studio that displays respect, courtesy, and support for other studios throughout the competition. For the third year, The Kathryn Barnett School of Dance in Red Bank NJ is the proud recipient of the Starpower Sportsmanship Award at the2007 Starpower Regional and Starbound Regional competition.
The Starpower Sportsmanship Award - This highly prestigious award is presented to the studio that displays the most professional behavior at the competition. The winner is determined by the Starpower Back Stage Manager. Gary Pate, Owner / Director of StarPower stated "of the over one thousand entries this weekend, the stage crew deemed the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance to be the most professional. Your dancers made quick changes in an expedient manner, had great sportsmanship to the other competitors, and in general were a delight to work with".

Celebrating 25 years of dance in 2007, all of the teachers at the Studio provide an environment for the children to grow and discover their inner creative spirit. Studio dancers perform in an Annual Recital and the award-winning Barnett Traveling Troupe participates in a wide variety of events throughout the year.
